A trip to the Dia:Beacon

How is it that I live 45 minutes from a really great art museum and I have never been there? Well I can now say that I have visited the DIA:Beacon and no longer feel a pang of guilt whenever anyone asks if I've been.

I had a great time and was inspired and awed.

The highlights for me were John Chamberlain,
Louise Bourgeois, Robert Smithson and Robert Ryman.

The visit today made me realize one of the main reasons that I need to move to a bigger area. I of coarse have absolutely no idea where that are is yet, I do know I would like to stay on the East coast for a few more years, and that I am not a big fan of the heat....yeah, that really narrows it down, I know.
